Each ring, necklace and bracelet is custom-molded and cast with a propriatary blend of surgical stainless steel or .925 Sterling Silver. Each piece is a statement that you are different (as you should be) and often down right defiant!

The Franco Wheat Chain Necklace is made from solid 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, not plastic. The black finish is achieved through a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating process, which creates a durable bonded coating over the stainless steel. Our black PVD pieces are typically coated at approximately 8–10 microns, which is significantly thicker and more durable than traditional plating methods.
We understand that the smooth black finish may feel different from raw stainless steel and can sometimes give the impression of a non-metal material. Unlike unfinished steel, the PVD coating creates a sleek, uniform surface that can feel softer or smoother to the touch. However, we can confirm that the base material underneath is genuine 316L surgical-grade stainless steel.

After reviewing the listing, we do see the image showing a model wearing a 13mm black curb chain. You are correct that we no longer carry this chain in that size, and we understand how that could be frustrating and create confusion when viewing the product.
