We use the process of PVD Coating our 18K Gold jewelry over 316L surgical grade stainless steel for a non-tarnish, hypoallergenic, polished finish that will hold up best to everyday wear and will never turn your skin green. PVD coated jewelry is more resistant to corrosion from sweat and regular wear than gold plated and gold filled jewelry.

*BEWARE* Absolutely not real gold plated theres NOTHING on it that says 18k, clasps are really cheap looking. I was pretty disappointed with it I'll never wear it bc it looks SO FAKE

Hi, sorry for your confusion, But we dont claim these are 18K Gold... they are 18K PVD COATED... If something is coated or plated you CAN NOT put 18K gold on the jewlery becuase it is NOT solid gold... See in the title where it says 18K PVD Coated Stainless steel... This means in jewelry terms, it is 316L surgical grade stainless steel that we PVD Coat the 18K gold to the steel... we typically coat to 4-6 microns of 18K gold.. if you are not sure what this process is you can search the word PVD coating or UV coating, which is a more durrable, fade resistant coating process to the standard plating methods... If it was solid gold... do you think it would be the price you paid for it?
